Curious about ‘surface design techniques’ on polymer? Want to expand your polymer toolkit and try something new?

Art on the Farm, a series of polymer workshops that take place in the tranquil green hills of Vermont, is holding “Surface Effects Bootcamp for Polymer Clay” this fall, October 11-13, 2017. This 3-day retreat will teach you to how to make polymer veneer sheets using vibrant color from paints, pastels, inks and other mediums and a variety of texture plates and molds to make unique and one-of-a-kind beads, jewelry elements and other 3-D projects. Students will have unlimited use of the instructor’s extensive collection of pastels, paints, inks and other colorants. You’ll also learn how to make your own unique molds and texture plates. Coaching with color choices and jewelry design will be provided and you’ll come away with the confidence and skills to tackle projects on your own. This is a technique-oriented class—you can work on any projects that you choose—earrings, pendants, mixed media. The workshop is appropriate for beginning to advanced polymeristas!

Visit and click the “Workshops” tab for more details. Space is limited to 6 students.
