In February of 2008 the National Polymer Clay Guild made history with its first Synergy conference. The goal was to bring the best polymer artists together with those aspiring to take this medium to a higher level.
Now the newly renamed International Polymer Clay Association will expand the original Synergy conference’s goal as we reach around the world to connect with the international polymer clay community by presenting Synergy2:Exploring Connections.
With over 46 sessions presented by artists and art professionals at the top of their game, Synergy2 promises to be an event not to be missed.
Join us for this inspiring, energizing and fun event. Come and connect with the creativity, excitement and community.

This year, we also have the privilege of honoring Lindly Haunani with the Creative Pioneer and Innovator Award. The honor is given to polymer artists who have contributed significantly to the polymer clay world through education, creative design, and innovation. Lindly is being honored for her contributions to the polymer community including being a founding member of the one of the first guilds and her hands-on color theory workshops, which have also helped many polymer artists overcome fear of color and develop their sense of color in their work. Past recipients include: Nan Roche, Judith Skinner, and Marie Segal.
Lindly will be honored on Tuesday evening, February 19, 2013. All who wish to honor her are encouraged to attend and show their appreciation. In addition, we will hold a silent auction to benefit NICU at HCH and CP Kid Center in Louisville, Kentucky, in honor of Ron Lehocky. Happy New Year to you all! Now that the holidays are over and the New Year has begun, it’s time to give your creative spirit a gift. Join us for this one-of-a-kind event, now in it’s 8th year.
Take advantage of an opportunity to fill your days with classes from a choice of 16 different instructors (Maureen Carlson, Jana Roberts Benzon, Robert Dancik, Dayle Doroshow, Christi Friesen, Lindly Haunani, Anke Humpert, Doreen Kassel, Randee Ketzel, Ann and Karen Mitchell, Melanie Muir, Kathryn Jo Ottman, Nan Roche, Marie Segal, Eugena Topina, and Teri Walters) and make new friends. Take away skills and techniques to improve your work and develop a style all your own. There are two things that set this even apart from any other:
First, CFCAF has the largest number of polymer instructors gathered in one location. You have your choice of which classes you want to attend and have a 24-hour room to work in while not in class. There is also an opportunity to show and sell your work to your peers. Attendees of Cabin Fever range from novice to professional artists, some who have been attending since year one.
Second, the auction at CFCAF has each year benefited one or more charities including American Cancer Society, CERF, and Wounded Warriors Fund. This year will be no different.
