About the Artist: Louise Smith
I was fortunate enough to be able to retire relatively early and have used my time to discover the joy of making things that I believe to be beautiful. I tried felting, bead weaving and bead embroidery, and now polymer clay. They are all wonderful, but polymer clay seems to be the best fit for me. I have found that the skills I have learned in one craft are often usable in another, as are so many of the art supplies! I love traveling to take polymer clay classes and to visit with the lovely people I have met through this medium.
