About the Artist
Baum-Davis has been working as a metalsmith, silver clay artist and creating with polymer clays (PC) since the mid 1990's. She has won numerous awards with her art and had several polymer tutorials in polymer magazines. And two tutorials in a metal clay book dealing with color with the material. She retired from teaching the clays in 2017 because, "I wanted my studio to be completely my own. Not for teaching." Since then, she has been creating with various brands of PC's, by experimenting with surface techniques, sculpture and mold making. During the past she has used textured surfaces with alcohol inks, adding cold enamels, embossing powders and resin to her work. "I have the best of all possible worlds." Voltaire
