About the Artist: Gayle Heinemann

I can't remember a time when I wasn't creating something....layouts of the apartment I lived in as a child, portraits of my mom and dad for Parents' Day at school, or creating baking recipes with my grandmother. "Making" has always been important to me. The patterns in my work are influenced by nature. Color ways are often derived from my travels. I am recently retired from a 30 year career teaching art , and am enjoying every minute of creating my own artwork in polymer clay.
