About the Artist
I first began working with polymer clay in 2015 and never looked back. The flexibility and colors allow a versatility in creation that I don't find anywhere else. Patterns are very appealing and I often stop strangers on the street to ask permission to photograph their clothing! I've enjoyed opportunities to study with inspiring artists from the polymer clay community include Melanie West, Kathleen Dustin, Suzanne Ivester and Lindly Huanani. My line of fantasy fish were inspired by one of Suzanne's tutorials, and Lindly provided a working structure for the colors that drive me into the studio. Follow me on Instagram @amyfrombarto.
