The retiring officers would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know how much serving on the board has meant to them. These women have all distinguished themselves by their service and their friendship. We trust they'll all remain active members of our community. Kerrie Venner
"I am pleased to be handing on the VP--Ed and Outreach
to highly capable and committee - experienced polymer artist and
tutor, Alison Gallant. I very much enjoyed attending the
Chicago retreat in 2009 and meeting so many warm and friendly polymer
clay devotees in the US. During the last two years it has been
exciting to observe the incredible surge of interest and enthusiasm
from the European clay community and wider afield, and to have taken
part in workshops in the UK and France, and I am so excited that
Natalia will be carrying on the excellent work Kylee began as
International Liaison. I hope to continue in the background, as
part of the wider IPCA community and join the European polymer clay
community." Kylee Milner"I was delighted to serve as the very first International Liaison officer for the IPCA. The experience has been an enriching one, and I wish my successor the very best in her role. Being international means thinking and acting international, and for this the IPCA can be begin to be proud." Karen Woods"It has been my extreme pleasure to serve as Treasurer of the IPCA these past two years and to be able to Chair Synergy2. I feel I got so much more out of the experience than I gave back and the new polymer connections I have made will be valuable for years to come. I wish the incoming Board much success as I finally get time to get back to my studio and try creating again." Lenora Kandiner...is traveling, but will add her message on the website when she returns. Kaaren Poole"As we enter a new year, I wish the best of everything to the new IPCA Board and all the members around the world. We are blessed to have such a wonderful, versatile medium to work with as polymer clay, and so many of our artists doing such inspiring work! Happy claying to all! Kaaren Poole, out-going secretary"
