I am a year old medically retired paramedic who started exploring the polymer clay medium over 8 years ago. I soon switched my allegiance from stained glass to polymer clay. Such a forgiving medium. Polymer clay saved my sanity after my back injury that ended my career. My first love with polymer clay is intricate caning, be it a name cane, a picture cane or making fun kaleidoscope canes. Besides caning I love exploring what polymer can do, incorporating metal and fiber, paints and gems, pretty much anything.
I am a happily married to my wife of 12 years and a SAHM to 4 dogs, 5 cats, a bird or 4, fish and 3 mojave desert tortoise. We live in Bakersfield, California. I was the founding momma of the Bakersfield Polymer Clay Guild.
